Be part of a dynamic, internationally recognised creative studio working at the forefront of experiences, culture and creativity. At Frost*collective, you’ll collaborate on high-profile built-environment projects that shape the way people navigate, experience and connect with places.

This is an exciting opportunity to join and help grow a fast-paced, ambitious team based in the heart of Clerkenwell. You’ll work on innovative precincts, masterplans and cultural institutions across the Northern Hemisphere, partnering with leading architects, developers and cultural organisations.

As a Senior Wayfinding Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of strategically led signage and wayfinding systems across complex environments. With a minimum of seven years’ experience in a creative design studio, you will support the Environments Creative Director and work closely with the strategy team to shape projects from initial brief through to detailed design and delivery.

You will contribute to the early strategic phases of projects, including working on the Return Brief and wayfinding strategy, under the oversight of the Lead Strategist. From there, you’ll translate spatial and behavioural insights into clear, intuitive and highly resolved wayfinding systems, carrying design intent through concept, design development and technical documentation.

The role also requires you to lead in effectively communicating and presenting design proposals, confidently articulating ideas to internal teams, clients and consultant groups. A high level of attention to detail and strong environmental graphic design capability is essential to ensure solutions are both conceptually robust and build-ready.

About you

  • Proven experience developing and documenting comprehensive, strategically led signage and wayfinding systems for complex built environments
  • Strong ability to contribute to wayfinding strategy and Return Brief development, working collaboratively with strategists and senior creative leadership
  • Confident in presenting and communicating design proposals to clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional typographic, spatial and graphic design skills, with a deep understanding of architecture and place
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to carry ideas through to technical documentation and implementation
