An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded solicitor to join the in-house legal team of a well-established, privately owned UK business with a diverse portfolio spanning media, technology, digital products and consumer services.

Working in a small legal team of 4, you'll provide practical legal advice across a range of commercial matters, including:

  • Contract drafting and negotiation
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Intellectual property
  • Data protection
  • Technology

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting strategic business objectives while managing legal risk.

Requirements:

  • UK qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house
  • Strong commercial contracts experience
  • Good knowledge of IP, data protection and consumer law
  • Commercially focused with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with AI tools and an interest in technology is desirable

THIS ROLE IS NOT FULLY REMOTE WORKING - YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE BASED IN SCOTLAND. ONE DAY A WEEK IN THE OFFICE IS ESSENTIAL.
