An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded in-house lawyer to join a dynamic, Scottish-headquartered business at a pivotal stage in its growth journey. Backed by one of the world’s leading private investment houses, the company is undergoing significant expansion, transformation and strategic investment activity.

This role will suit a commercial / corporate lawyer seeking broad, high-quality in-house exposure within a fast-paced and ambitious environment, with a particular emphasis on corporate transactions, strategic projects and M&A-related activity.

Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business, responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting corporate transactions, acquisitions and strategic investment activity
  • Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts and business-critical agreements
  • Providing corporate governance and company secretarial support
  • Advising on regulatory, compliance and risk matters
