New Private Client Opportunity – Boutique Edinburgh Practice

Are you ready to specialise in Private Client law within a collaborative, high-calibre team? Join a respected boutique firm in Edinburgh where you\’ll advise high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial families on complex and rewarding matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise individuals and family businesses on protecting and preserving wealth.
• Guide families in selecting the most suitable asset-holding structures (e.g., trusts, partnerships, family investment companies).
• Draft accurate and comprehensive legal documents related to:
• Family and business governance
• Succession and tax planning
• Commercial and corporate matters
• Asset protection and mediation
• Develop estate and succession planning solutions, including Wills and philanthropy planning.
• Work closely with family business clients to address continuity, conflict resolution, and challenging dynamics.
• Manage your own caseload while mentoring junior colleagues and supporting the wider team.
• Ensure timely and professional problem-solving for clients.
• Consistently meet or exceed personal financial and performance targets.
• Stay current with developments in private client law through training and industry events.
• Collaborate with a network of professionals (accountants, tax advisers, lawyers, wealth managers) to provide integrated advice.
• Contribute to the firm\’s thought leadership by writing articles, blogs, and publications.
• Support internal colleagues across departments and share knowledge.
• Comply with all financial, time-recording, and AML procedures.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records within the firm\’s document management system.

What We’re Looking For:

• Interest and passion for working in private client – ideally you will have experience in this area
• A client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and commercial approach to legal practice.
• Good with people!
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

OFFICE BASED IN EDINBURGH 3 DAYS A WEEK – 2 WORKING FROM HOME.
