A really great opportunity to work for a long established design and installation company that focuses on cleaner energy for domestic and commercial clients. They deal with solar energy, heat pumps, MVHR, battery storage energy, air conditioning, and EV charging and can boast an office that was an outdated warehouse they turned into a clean energy, zero carbon office space with a showroom and gym facilities for employees. They look after their employees and lead by example on the works they do for the clients across the London and south east area.

Salary for an MEP Design Manager:

  • £50-60k basic salary, £60-70k OTE with bonuses
  • Phone, laptop
  • 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays – holiday purchase scheme
  • Onsite gym
  • Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme available after 6 months

Due to expansion, they are recruiting for an MEP Design Manager, you will be:

  • Based from their office in Croydon half the time and the rest working from home
  • Flexible hours you can work between 7am and 6pm
  • Leading a design team of 3 people and managing their output
  • Running the design process for plumbing, heat pumps, solar installations, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) from post sale and through stage 4 designs
  • Being the main technical authority for the install teams on site and visiting these sites
  • Checking load calculations
  • Making sure that designs are meeting SLA agreements
