A great opportunity to work with an established and growing care company providing residential live-in support for children and young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Their staff are always on hand to provide emotional support as well as helping to teach and develop the children for the future.
Due to expansion, they are recruiting for a Children’s Home Registered Manager. You will be:
- Based in a 2-child children’s residential home in the Wirral – CH44 area
- Working Monday to Friday with a team of 6 in the home
- Working with boys and girls from the ages of 6-16
- Supporting the team of support workers, the deputy, and team leader at the home regarding looking after the children
- Doing rotas for staff, leading the support team, making sure care plans are adhered to, and helping the manager run the home
Salary and Benefits of a Children’s Home Registered Manager:
- ~£53,942 if you have your Level 3 AND your Level 5, £51,872 if you just have your Level 3
- Bonuses for OFSTED inspections

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
- You must have a full UK driving licence and ideally your own vehicle, but there is a house car you will have access to
- NVQ level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce is essential – having level 5 or being on the course would be a major advantage
- Experience needed working in a residential child care framework, ideally over 2 years in a supervisory or manager position
