A great opportunity to work with an established and growing care company providing residential live-in support and supported accommodation support for children and young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. They take pride in the support they give the children, believing that setting them up with life skills now will help them turn into well-rounded members of the community. Their staff are always on hand to provide emotional support as well as helping to teach and develop the children for the future.
They are recruiting for a Supported Accommodation Team Leader for young people. You will be:
- Based in a group supported home for young people, a self-contained flat complex
- Working 2 shifts per week (10am till 10am next day is a shift)
- Based at their Southport complex (PR9)
- Working with male and female young adults from 16-18 years old
- Supporting the young adult with preparing them for living alone and helping them navigate self-sufficiency and growing into a responsible adult
- Making sure they are supported emotionally so they can work towards not needing the support as they grow older
- Helping run the complex with the home manager
