My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, covering all over the UK and serving many well-known companies and organisations. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills and being one step ahead of the ever-changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant, ensuring their service is taken very seriously to maintain client relationships.

Role:

  • Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
  • Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
  • Covering south Wales with most of the work being from Swansea to Newport

Salary and Benefits:

  • £26k basic salary - realistic OTE of £38-40k
  • Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day - 20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit
  • Travel pay
  • Company share ownership scheme after 12 months
  • Bonuses if you go to 3 or more sites per day
  • Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
  • Overtime weekend rota
  • 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Yearly KPI bonuses
  • Plenty of additional overtime if required

Skills / Experience:

  • Living ideally anywhere from Swansea to Newport area
  • C&G 2377 PAT course needed
  • Experience doing portable appliance testing
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Great customer service skills for when you are on site
  • Be able to pass a DBS check
