My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, they cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.
They are recruiting for Portable Appliance Testers (PAT), you will be:
- Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
- Going to 1 or 2 sites per day – extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
- Working in and around the London / M25 area
Salary and Benefits for a PAT Tester:
- 26k basic salary – realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
- Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day–20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit
- Travel pay
- Company share ownership scheme after 12 months
- Bonuses if you go to 3 or more sites per day
- Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
- Overtime weekend rota
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Yearly KPI bonuses
- Plenty of additional overtime if required
Skills / experience needed to be a PAT Tester:
- Living anywhere around the London or greater London area
- C&G 2377 PAT course needed
- Experience doing portable appliance testing
- Full UK driving licence
- Great customer services skills for when you are on site
- Be able to pass a DBS check
