The company is a major name within the manufacture of commercial and industrial dishwashers and glass washers as well as chemical dosing equipment. They are a worldwide company with some very well-known chain and independent clients. They like to hold onto their engineers for a long time by looking after them and providing great training.

They are recruiting for a Service Call Planner, you will be:

  • Based from their Milton Keynes office initially and then after the probation period you have the option to work 2 days a week at home remotely – all equipment supplied
  • Working 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Allocating 15-20 engineers to service or install jobs in various locations in London
  • Planning out install jobs for labour to ensure the job sheet can be started
  • Helping engineers maintain their first-time rates
  • Updating the client until the job is finished and paperwork is completed

Preferred Skills for a Service Call Planner:

  • Living within travelling distance to their Milton Keynes office
  • Good computer skills, admin skills, and customer skills are needed
  • Good London geographical knowledge would be great
  • Experience working in a similar planning/scheduling admin position as a service controller, service booker, etc.
  • Experience within the HVAC or M&E sectors would be beneficial but is not essential

Salary and Benefits for a Service Call Planner:

  • £27k basic
  • Ability to work part remotely after the probation period
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Additional hours 1 weekend in 4 remotely paid at overtime rates (x1.5 for Saturday and x2 for Sunday)
