My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, covering all over the UK and serving many well-known companies and organisations. They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills and staying ahead of the ever-changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant, ensuring their service is taken seriously to maintain client relationships.
They are recruiting for Portable Appliance Testers (PAT), you will be:
- Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
- Going to 1 or 2 sites per day – extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
Salary and Benefits for a PAT Tester:
- Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day – 15p, 25p or 35p per test after daily targets are hit
- Travel pay
- Company share ownership scheme after 12 months
- Bonuses if you go to 3 or more sites per day
- Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
- Overtime weekend rota
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Yearly KPI bonuses
- Plenty of additional overtime if required
Skills / experience needed to be a PAT Tester:
- C&G 2377 PAT course needed
- Experience doing portable appliance testing
- Full UK driving licence
- Be able to pass a DBS check
