Due to expansion they are looking for a commercial catering engineer, you will be:

  • Covering the Isle of Wight
  • Doing service, maintenance, installation and repairs on catering equipment
  • Working on gas and electrical commercial catering equipment grills, burners, fryers, ovens, dishwashers etc.
  • Also working on some commercial laundry equipment if you have the skills OR want to learn them
  • Working with clients, such as commercial businesses and eateries on the island as well as care homes and the NHS

Skills needed to be a commercial catering engineer:

  • Living anywhere on the Isle of Wight or someone that would like to relocate to the Isle of Wight
  • COMCAT s 1,3,5 ideally but the company would also like to hear from any domestic or commercial gas engineers that want to be trained on commercial catering equipment
  • They would take on an electrical engineer who wants to be trained on commercial gas catering equipment
