A really good opportunity to work for an already well established commercial catering equipment installer who are going through a growth spurt. Very well liked in the industry and can count some very large catering companies as clients they sub for. The company’s main aim is to get continuous work from clients and for that they always need to be doing a great job, and for that they need to be employing the best kind of engineers – engineers who take pride in their work.

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a commercial catering equipment installation engineer. You will be:

  • Installing commercial catering equipment – gas, electrical, water
  • Working on new build and full refurb projects – restaurants, care homes, hotels etc
  • Working most of the time in the London area with some work being in Essex borders
  • Potentially working 2-3 nights away a year but that is the most
  • Installing the equipment and putting in the relevant connecting pipe or plumbing works as well as connecting electrical and commissioning the equipment
  • Working on larger jobs so you could be on the same site for a week to 4 weeks at a time – 8am on site so finishing mid afternoon

Skills needed to be a commercial catering equipment installation engineer:

  • Living anywhere in or around the north London, east London or Essex area
  • Good electrical experience with your 18th edition
  • Good plumbing and pipe work experience
  • Having experience installing any kind of commercial catering equipment would be very beneficial
  • Need to be fit and healthy as installing this equipment can involve some moderate lifting

  • 40-45k basic salary depending on experience
