My client is a well-known and well-established motor vehicle sales, service, and MOT test centre. They pride themselves on giving the best possible sales and service and are a credit to the trade. Specialising in German and other European models, they provide customers with all their knowledge, ensuring guaranteed repeat business for the future.

Salary and Benefits of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

  • £33,000 - £40,000 basic depending on experience
  • Parking available close to the garage and near the train station
  • Some overtime available
  • Continuous further manufacturers training
  • 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Due to expansion, they are recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Technician. You will be:

  • Based from their garage in Godalming, Surrey
  • Working 8.30am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch
  • Doing vehicle diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles including BMW, SEAT, VW, Skoda, Audi, and Mini
  • Some MOT testing if you have the experience

Skills / Experience needed to be a Senior Vehicle Technician:

  • Living within travelling distance to Godalming, Surrey
  • NVQ Level 3 vehicle maintenance would be ideal; they would also consider someone with Level 2 but with several years in the industry
  • Having your MOT cert would be beneficial but is not essential
  • A good track record working as a vehicle technician with a main dealer or independent garage
  • Vehicle diagnostics experience is needed
  • Experience with SEAT, Skoda, BMW, AUDI, and VW would be very advantageous
