My client is a well respected electrical compliance and testing company with over 40 years of experience. They operate across the UK and count many well-known organisations as customers. They pride themselves on engineers' skills and staying ahead of evolving electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and are committed to delivering reliable service to ensure clients return.

Benefits and salary:

  • 36k basic salary
  • Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day +10k per year OTE
  • Travel pay
  • Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
  • Overtime weekend rota
  • 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Yearly KPI bonuses
  • Plenty of additional overtime if required

Role: Fixed Wire Electrical Tester

You will be:

  • Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
  • Also doing a very small amount of PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if you have the experience
  • Covering around the SO and PO areas in South Hampshire
  • Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets

Skills / experience:

  • Living anywhere in or around the SO or PO postcodes
  • 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 test and inspection certificate or equivalent
  • Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
  • Great customer services skills for when you are on site
  • Be able to pass a DBS check
