My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years. They cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.
Benefits and salary of a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester:
- 39k basic salary
- Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day for a 48-50k OTE
- Employee company ownership scheme
- Travel pay
- Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
- Overtime weekend rota
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Yearly KPI bonuses
- Plenty of additional overtime if required
They are recruiting for a fixed wire electrical tester you will be:
- Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
- Also doing some PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if you have the experience
- Covering around the Reading area with some work being further into Berkshire
- Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets
Skills / experience needed as a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester:
- Living anywhere in or around the Reading area or within travelling distance
- 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
- Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
- Great customer services skills for when you are on site
- Be able to pass a DBS check
