My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, covering all over the UK and serving many well-known companies and organisations. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills and staying ahead of the ever-changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant, ensuring their service is taken very seriously to maintain client relationships.
Benefits and Salary:
- £40k basic salary
- Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day and remedial works - £8-9k on top
- Employee company ownership scheme
- Travel pay
- Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
- Travel, accommodation and meals paid for when working away
- Overtime weekend rota
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Yearly KPI bonuses
- Plenty of additional overtime if required
Responsibilities:
- Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
- Performing EICR remedial works
- Conducting PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if experienced
- Covering areas across central belt Scotland with potential work further north
- Potentially working away 5-10 days per month
- Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets
Qualifications:
- Living anywhere in or around the central belt of Scotland, preferably close to Glasgow
- 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
- Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be beneficial
- Good experience doing fixed wire testing and EICR remedial works
- Great customer service skills for on-site interactions
- Ability to pass a DBS check
