My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, covering all over the UK and serving many well-known companies and organisations. They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills and staying ahead of the ever-changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant, ensuring their service is taken very seriously to maintain client relationships.

Benefits and salary of a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester / Remedial Engineer:

  • £40k basic salary
  • Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day and remedial works – £8-9k on top
  • Employee company ownership scheme
  • Travel pay
  • Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment

  • Overtime weekend rota

  • Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
  • Doing EICR remedial works
  • Also doing some PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if experienced
  • Covering a lot across the central belt of Scotland with other work
