They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills and staying ahead of the ever-changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant, ensuring their service is taken seriously to maintain client relationships.
Benefits and salary of a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester:
- £36k basic salary
- Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day, £10k per year OTE
- Travel pay
- Employee ownership scheme
- Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
- Overtime weekend rota
- 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Yearly KPI bonuses

They are recruiting for a fixed wire electrical tester who will be:
- Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
- Also doing a very small amount of PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if experienced
- Covering around the SO and PO areas in South Hampshire
- Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets
Skills / experience needed as a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester:
- Living anywhere in or around the SO or PO postcodes
- 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 test and inspection certificate or equivalent
- Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
- Great customer service skills for when on site
- Be able to pass a DBS check
