Based from their office in Sevenoaks in Kent, working Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm OR 8.30am till 5.30pm.
- Planning the engineers' days for them going to customers' houses to do gas boiler maintenance and repair calls.
- Liaising with the customer when needed about the engineers' visit.
- Assessing the engineers' route during the day and recognising things to make them more efficient.
- Keeping an eye on stock and parts management to make sure the engineers have the right equipment for each of the jobs they get called out to.
Salary for a service coordinator: £29k basic salary, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. Holiday entitlement goes up by 5 days after 5 years of service. Private healthcare after probation. Free parking on site.
Experience needed to be a service coordinator:
- Living within travelling distance to the office in Sevenoaks in Kent.
- You need some sort of experience as a service planner, a service coordinator or experience in booking out to people or things to places on a daily basis.
- Having any additional experience within the gas industry would be a major advantage.
- Computer literate with good paperwork skills.
- You need to be organised and be able to multi-task.
