Our client is looking for a talented Data & Platform Engineer to join their IT Data & Platform team, where you'll play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining cutting-edge data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
You'll build and optimise data pipelines, lakehouses and data warehouses, using Py Spark, Python, T-SQL and DAX to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll develop robust, secure and well-documented data platforms while embracing a code-first approach, Infrastructure as Code (Ia C), Git version control and Azure Dev Ops.
You'll monitor platform performance, ensure data quality and compliance, and continually seek opportunities to enhance business operations through innovative data engineering solutions.
We're looking for someone with at least three years' experience in Data Engineering and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake or similar cloud platforms.
You'll have strong Python/Py Spark skills, experience integrating with APIs, and a background in Agile development.
