The Home Health - (FT) Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to patients in their homes. The Speech Language Pathologist will work with patients who have communication and swallowing disorders and will develop treatment plans to help patients improve their speech and language skills. The Speech Language Pathologist will also work with patients who have cognitive and memory impairments and will develop strategies to help patients improve their memory and cognitive function.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to determine patients' speech and language abilities
  • Develop treatment plans to help patients improve their speech and language skills
  • Work with patients who have cognitive and memory impairments to develop strategies to improve their memory and cognitive function
  • Provide education to patients and their families on speech and language disorders and treatment options

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
