Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 45 hours per week working 9 hours per day. Predominantly 5am to 2pm on a Monday to Friday basis, however flexibility to cover the 10am to 7pm shift and work outside of these times to suit business needs.

About the role:
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Transport Supervisor. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance of all vehicles and drivers.
- Providing skills required to deliver to customers on time and in full.
- Providing high quality services to suit customer needs.
- Providing support for distribution teams to ensure smooth running of operations.
- Making sure all site objectives are met whilst not compromising on health and safety.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
- Either seeing the vehicles and crew out in the morning or overseeing the return of all vehicles and crews depending on hours worked.
- To be the point of contact for all real-time delivery issues for the crews and to communicate with customer services.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience supervising or leading both people and processes within a transport or logistics network.
- Experience within transport compliance.
- Customer Service.
- IT literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
- Manual Handling.
- Experience using Microlise Systems.
- IOSH certification beneficial however not required.
- Transport Manager CPC beneficial however not required.
