Frontline’s Approach Social Work in Swindon offers a three-year training programme to become a social worker. You’ll work toward a master’s degree while gaining on-the-job experience and support from tutors, experienced social workers and a peer network.
In year one you receive a tax-exempt bursary of £18,000 (£20,000 in London). In years two and three you will be paid as a social worker, earning £30,000–£39,000 (median £35,000) and £35,000–£44,000 (median £40,000) respectively.
