Do you thrive on turning complex data into commercial advantage and influencing strategic decisions? In this role, you’ll provide business-critical analysis and insight across Frontline Distribution Solutions in the UK and Ireland. It’s a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role, ideal for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with commercial impact and team leadership.

You’ll lead and develop a team of analysts, setting the standard for insight excellence and owning the Range Review process across all retailers. Working closely with National Account and Category Management teams, you’ll optimise space, revenue, and profitability for our partners and clients while maximising distribution at retail.

You’ll also play a key role in driving proactive, strategic decision-making across Trade Marketing, delivering market-leading, actionable insights that influence performance and growth. We’re looking for a Retail Range & Commercial Insights Manager to elevate how Frontline delivers insight and commercial value across its publisher and retail partnerships. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll own and continuously evolve our range review approach—identifying opportunities for growth and translating data into compelling strategies that influence senior stakeholders across Trade Marketing, National Accounts, Category Management, BI, and publishing partners.

We offer an informal hybrid working model, with a minimum of 8 office days, in the London (Farringdon) office, every 4 weeks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and leading a best-in-class range review and listings process, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs across all retailers.
  • Coaching and developing a high-performing analyst team, promoting a culture of curiosity, high standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Driving strategic insight and analysis, delivering forward-looking recommendations that inform key commercial decisions.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across Trade Marketing, Retail Sales, and Category Management to unlock growth opportunities, optimise and protect distribution.
  • Leading range review “clinics” and influencing cross-functional decision-making through data-led storytelling.
  • Enhancing how we deliver insight by streamlining processes, improving tools, and embedding best practice across the business.
  • Acting as project lead on key initiatives, aligning multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful, business-wide outcomes.

We are looking for people with:

  • A strategic thinker who can connect data to commercial outcomes and long-term growth.
  • An inspirational leader, experienced in developing analytical teams.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability, with expertise in data analysis, modelling, and insight generation.
  • Advanced in Excel, with strong experience in tools such as Power BI or MicroStrategy.
  • A confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to operate effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment.

What’s in it for you:

  • Contributory pension, including life assurance, and income protection.
  • Informal hybrid working arrangements, combining in-office and remote/home working.
  • Additional leave: 2 paid volunteering days per year and family-friendly policy.
  • Wellbeing support, including our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • On-site gym and parking at Stuart House, Peterborough.
  • Reward Gateway scheme – Smart Spending App with access to a range of deals and discounts.
  • Salary-sacrifice options including private medical insurance, car scheme, and holiday purchase scheme.
  • Learning and development opportunities.
  • Executive coaching and mentoring available to all colleagues.
