VAN DRIVERS WANTED – ST HELENS, MERSEYSIDE & SURROUNDING AREAS
FED UP WITH 100 DROPS A DAY? HOW DOES 10–12 SOUND?
We're recruiting Van Drivers, Delivery Drivers and Home Delivery Drivers for opportunities based in St Helens, Merseyside.
Are you looking for a van driving job without the pressure of making 100 deliveries a day?
How does approximately 10–12 customer deliveries per shift sound?
If you're a reliable driver who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers and doing a good day's work, we'd love to hear from you!
NO WEEKENDS? NO PROBLEM!
We have a range of working patterns available to suit different circumstances.
SHIFTS & WORKING HOURS
- Monday to Friday opportunities available
- No weekend working required for these roles
- Part-time opportunities with set working days each week
- Morning shifts starting at 6am
- Afternoon shifts starting at 1.30pm
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Driving a van to deliver goods to customers' homes
- Completing approximately 10–12 deliveries per shift
- Loading and unloading goods from your vehicle
- Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling
- Completing some small assembly work where required
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Following planned delivery routes
- Completing delivery paperwork and records
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks
- Following road safety and driving regulations
Full training will be provided for the delivery and assembly duties.
IMPORTANT – THIS IS A PHYSICAL DELIVERY ROLE!
Heavy lifting and manual handling are involved, so you must be comfortable with physically demanding work.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Drivers with a valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle
- Reliable people with good timekeeping
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Previous van driving, multi-drop delivery, home delivery or courier experience would be useful
You don't need to be used to making 100 drops a day. We're looking for people who can provide a reliable, professional delivery service.
LOCATION – ST HELENS, MERSEYSIDE
Our van driving opportunities are based in St Helens.
