VWAREHOUSE OPERATIVES & DRIVERS' MATES WANTED – ST HELENS, MERSEYSIDE
We're recruiting Warehouse Operatives, Warehouse Loaders and Drivers' Mates for opportunities based in St Helens, Merseyside.
Whether you enjoy working in a busy warehouse or would rather be out on the road helping with home deliveries, we could have just the job for you!
We're looking for reliable, hardworking people who are happy to get stuck in and do a good day's work.
We have different working patterns available, including weekday opportunities.
- Loading and unloading goods
- Moving, sorting and organising warehouse stock
- Supporting goods-in and distribution operations
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Keeping warehouse areas clean, tidy and safe
- Working as part of a busy warehouse team
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
DRIVERS' MATE / HOME DELIVERY ASSISTANT DUTIES
- Accompanying a delivery driver on scheduled home deliveries
- Helping to load and unload delivery vehicles
- Carrying products into customers' homes
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Assisting with basic product assembly where required
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Supporting the driver with delivery paperwork
- Working together to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
Full training will be provided for relevant duties.
IMPORTANT – THESE ARE PHYSICAL ROLES!
Both warehouse and Drivers' Mate positions involve heavy lifting, moving products and manual handling.
You must be comfortable with physically demanding work and being on your feet throughout your shift.

- Previous warehouse, loading, unloading or delivery experience would be useful but isn't essential
