Frontline Recruitment is hiring a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our client’s service team. This role involves working across a range of customer sites, providing technical support, maintenance, and installation services for industrial equipment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, customer satisfaction, and high service standards through both reactive and planned maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance
- Performing planned maintenance and routine servicing
- Carrying out unplanned maintenance as required
- Replacing and repairing components
- Installation and commissioning of equipment
- Providing operator training and system handovers
- Completing service reports and related administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Willingness to work in a mobile, field-based role
- Home-based with travel to customer sites
- Flexible approach to overtime and occasional overnight stays
- Multi-skilled engineer with a preference for electrical bias
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Relevant technical qualifications or completed apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
- Good IT skills
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- High attention to detail and pride in quality of work
