Additionally, you’ll represent the business at every delivery, making professionalism and reliability key qualities for success. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a Class 2 or 7.5T vehicle. * Complete scheduled home deliveries across designated routes. * Ensure deliveries are made accurately and on time. * Load and unload goods safely. * Work alongside a Driver’s Mate when required. * Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts. * Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. * Provide exceptional customer service during every delivery. * Follow all DVSA regulations, Working Time Directive requirements and company procedures. * Report any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly. What We’re Looking For: To succeed in this role, you’ll need: * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence or 7.5T (Category C1) Licence * Valid CPC Qualification Card * Digital Tachograph Card * Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations * Strong customer service skills * Reliable and professional attitude * Ability to work independently and as part of a team However, if you’re newly qualified and eager to build your driving career, we’d still like to hear from you.
