Are you a Van Driver looking for a new challenge? How does home delivery sound but with no more than 12 drops a day? Yes you read that right – no more than 12 drops!
Working any 5 over 7 days on a rota basis, 4 weeks + ahead. 07:00 am starts, £14.42 per hour.
Duties- Safely operate a van to transport goods and deliver to customer homes
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo, some assembly work may be involved but full training will be provided
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers or passengers
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
