Job Description: Job Title: Refuse Loader / Waste Collection Operative Location: Nottingham, NG2 Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM (finish times may vary depending on workload and collection rounds) Pay: £12.71 per hour Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Job Overview Frontline Recruitment is looking for hardworking and reliable Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste collection team working on behalf of one of our well-established clients in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and being outdoors as part of a team. Benefits * Monday to Friday working schedule * Early starts and early finishes, depending on collection rounds * Ongoing work opportunities * On-site training provided * Opportunity to work as part of a friendly and supportive team Key Responsibilities * Collect and load household waste and recycling bins onto refuse collection vehicles * Assist the collection team in completing daily routes safely and efficiently * Handle waste containers and bins in accordance with health and safety procedures * Work closely with drivers and other team members to ensure collections are completed on time * Maintain a safe and tidy working environment * Follow all site safety procedures and instructions * Work efficiently in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment Requirements * Previous refuse loading, waste collection or similar manual work experience desirable but not essential * Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting, walking and manual handling * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure * Reliable, punctual and hardworking * Good communication and teamwork skills * Basic understanding of workplace health and safety * Willingness to follow instructions and complete on-site training Frontline Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and acts as an employment agency for this vacancy.
