ROLE: Multi-Trade Operative LOCATION: Leicester HOURS: Full-Time | Permanent SALARY: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (with excellent earning potential above basic salary) Frontline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join a growing team based in Leicester. Working primarily within the social housing sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. BENEFITS * Competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum * Permanent, full-time position * Excellent opportunities to increase earnings above basic salary * Long-term career stability * Supportive and professional working environment * Opportunity to work across a varied range of maintenance and refurbishment projects * Immediate interviews available THE ROLE * Carrying out mould treatment and prevention works within occupied properties. * Completing full bathroom installations, including plumbing, tiling, and finishing works. * Undertaking kitchen installations, including fitting units, worktops, and associated trade work. * Refurbishing void properties to meet lettable standards. * Carrying out painting and decorating to a high standard. * Completing general multi-trade repairs, including: * Basic carpentry * Plumbing * Patch plastering * Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively. * Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. * Maintaining clean, safe, and organised work areas. * Providing excellent customer service while communicating professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues. THE REQUIREMENTS * Previous experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within the social housing sector or a similar environment. * Strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and decorating. * Experience carrying out mould treatment and damp-related repairs (desirable). * Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Full UK driving licence (essential). * Reliable, proactive, and capable of delivering work to a consistently high standard.
