Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Technicians to join our clients global manufacturing company based in HU8.

The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience to Level 3 NVQ in Engineering standards, with knowledge of various tools and assembly processes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our clients facilities.

The position is permanent and benefits from excellent company benefits and working environment with a leading global supplier.

Responsibilities

  • Operate lines to manufacture products, whilst providing technical support to the line to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Conduct, lead and deliver changeover activity with a focus on change over reduction
  • Train, develop and assess the team to ensure flexibility is achieved within the team.
  • Lead tams in troubleshooting and maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Undertake operator/production line duties whilst maintaining an engineering overview of the line.
  • Prioritise tasks to meet KPI's
  • Carry out mini risk assessments reporting any risks to the shift technician or Maintenance Team Leader

Experience

Production Line experience on high speed packaging equipment in FMCG, food, chemical or phama environment.

A good understanding of engineering practices.

Analytical skills with the drive to implement improvements.

An awareness of quality/good manufacturing practice and KPI focussed environment.

IT literate.

A proven leader to lead and supervise a team of 4.

Working continental shifts (12 Hours), 2 days 2 nights 4 off. Hours 6 am until 6 pm and 6 pm until 6 am which will included rotared weekend working.
