Job Description

Frontline Recruitment Derby are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our client in various administrative and operational tasks in their production factory. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, confidence in attending meetings and proficiency in Microsoft Office.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n· Processing of staff hours from time recording data\\n\\n· Rota management and holiday and absence management\\n\\n· Refresh & maintain all current job descriptions\\n\\n· Review and update HR policies, including the staff handbook (with internal and external\\n\\nsupport)\\n\\n· One day per month visit to the Manchester office to provide in-person HR support\\n\\n· General HR admin support across both the Derby and Manchester offices (primarily\\n\\nremotely for Manchester)\\n\\n· Staff management support for existing managers and supervisors\\n\\n· Support with internal investigations\\n\\nThe successful applicant:\\n\\nIt would be advantageous if they feel comfortable managing/assisting with disciplinary proceedings, although this is not a necessity and training could be provided.\\n\\n** For the Manchester office in person support – supporting 3 directors with their HR tasks, therefore you must be prepared to visit the Manchester HO once a month.\\n\\nDue to the size of the business, there will likely be some quieter periods in the role.

During this time, we would like the individual to support the internal training processes with the factory team—specifically looking at how the business can improve training delivery and ensure training records are complete and up to date.\\n\\nTraining provided for any gaps in experience for the right candidate. Working towards/have CIPD qualification advantageous but not essential.\\n\\nSalary - up to £30k dependent upon experience\\n\\nDays - 40 hours per week\\n\\nWe are looking for someone with confidence to deliver the right HR message across both client's businesses.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a confident professional individual, looking to advance their career within Human Resources as a HR Assistant based in Derby with occasional travel to Manchester.
