Forklift Engineer

Job Title: Forklift Mechanic Location: Nottingham We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanic to join our client at a leading UK manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical qualifications and be proficient in delivering maintenance support on a variety of equipment used in our production processes. Key Requirements: * Background in Mechanical engineering * Background in Electrical engineering Responsibilities * Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functionality. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using knowledge of electrical engineering principles. * Utilize programmable logic controllers to monitor and control machinery operations. * Interpret and follow schematics to perform maintenance tasks accurately. * Weld components as needed to repair or fabricate parts. * Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff, emphasizing teamwork and efficiency. * Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance issues promptly and professionally. * Driving to clients to work on site Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Canteen * Company pension * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * Maintenance Engineer: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence Work Location: In person
