Are you good with people and computers and like to talk on the phone? We are recruiting for someone to join our team as a booking administrator within a busy Distribution company. This role will be working within a team of administrators, working closely with customers to liaison deliveries and update systems and paperwork accordingly. This role will include making a lot of calls to customers meaning it would suit someone who is confident talking and with administration. This role is based in Dartford DA2. Working any 5 over 7 days, 8 hour shifts between 8am and 8pm. Paying £13.10 per hour.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Contacting customers to book delivery slots at a time that suits them.
  • Ensuring balances are settled on accounts.
  • Updating internal systems and paperwork accordingly.
  • Working closely with the delivery teams to ensure each customer’s needs are met to a high standard.
  • Approaching each customer with a warm and empathetic outlook and handling feedback and complaints in a professional manner.
Skills and experience required:
  • Comfortable and confident on the telephone and PC literate.
  • Being able to use own initiative.
  • Positive attitude and outlook with ability to empathise in all situations.
  • Systematic and persistent approach to work.
  • Putting the customer first and taking personal responsibility to resolve any issues.
