Are you an experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon with capacity alongside your existing commitments? Frontline Insourcing is establishing a new vascular insourcing contract across the Warrington, Crewe, and Greater Manchester corridor and is seeking Consultant Vascular Surgeons to join a dedicated regional delivery team. Whether you hold a substantive NHS post, work within independent practice, or both, if you have spare capacity and are looking for structured, planned additional work that fits around your existing rota and commitments, we would very much welcome your CV.
About the contract
This is a new insourcing contract delivering consultant-led vascular surgical sessions within NHS estates across the region. Sessions are planned in advance and scheduled around your existing commitments. This is not ad hoc agency work. The rota will be built around the availability of the clinical team, and where possible we will ensure you are working close to home.
Building regional teams
Wherever possible, we build regional clinical teams, matching Consultants to sites closest to their home base. Our aim is to limit travel and accommodation requirements and to ensure that all Consultants are home in the evenings. That said, if you are prepared to travel and have any spare capacity alongside your existing commitments, we would very much like to hear from you. No opportunity is too small. If the capacity is there, we will find a way to make it work.
What we offer
- A new, long-term NHS insourcing contract with confirmed session schedules, structured around your existing role and availability
- Flexible rostering built around your current commitments, whether that is weekend sessions, evening clinics, or planned daytime capacity
- Competitive consultant session and day rates, paid weekly
- A regional delivery model, meaning you work close to home across the Warrington, Crewe, and Greater Manchester area, with travel and accommodation support where required
- Full mobilisation and compliance support from our experienced delivery team
- Contracts of genuine duration, offering professional continuity and meaningful, predictable additional income
What we are looking for
- Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in Vascular Surgery
- Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain prior to deployment
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), with vascular subspecialty accreditation
- Demonstrable experience in consultant-led vascular surgical practice within an NHS or independent clinical environment
- Availability for planned insourcing sessions alongside your existing substantive or independent commitments
- A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, consultant-led elective vascular care within NHS estates and in accordance with NHS clinical governance standards
Location
Warrington, Crewe, and Greater Manchester corridor. We are building a regional team and will always seek to match Consultants to sites closest to their base, minimising travel and keeping you closer to home.
