We are thrilled to announce a brand new contract starting, located in Lancashire. We have multiple bookings available and are looking for experienced Sterile Services Technicians (not Endoscopy Techs) to fill the following:
- 3 SSD Techs x 8:00am – 6:00pm | Monday – Friday
- 3 SSD Techs x 6:00pm – 12:00 midnight | Monday – Friday
- 3 SSD Techs x 8:00am – 4:00pm | Saturday & Sunday
Options available for longer days. The SSD is located on the lower ground floor of the main hospital and operates the following equipment: Dekomed D32 XL & Medisafe Ultrasonic Washer, BMM Weston autoclaves, and Getinge T-Doc traceability software. Experience with this equipment and software is desirable but not essential. However, experience working in a decontamination and production room environment is essential.
Pay: A flat £17.00 per hour, £2,944.40 - £4,051.67 per month, circa £35,332.80 - £48,620.00 per annum depending on hours worked — significantly above the standard NHSP £15.20 rate. Every Friday is payday. Timesheets are required every week. Block booking. Source your own accommodation, not provided by the organisation, but local accommodation is affordable.
You can expect to work with sets from the following specialties: General Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Emergency Surgery and Day Surgery.
