Frontline Insourcing is actively recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join one of our clinical insourcing teams, supporting a Respiratory Outpatients department within an NHS setting in the Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and professionally presented HCA who enjoys working alongside senior clinicians in a structured outpatient environment.

The Role

Working closely with Respiratory Consultants, you will assist in the assessment of new patients and the review of patient outcomes across outpatient and community diagnostic clinic settings. You will also be responsible for chaperoning during clinical consultations, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and dignity throughout.

Shifts run from 08:00 to 18:00, inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, example of 8.5 paid hours per day at a rate of £18.00, equating to £153.00 per full day. Pay day is every Friday. This is an ad hoc, shift-based engagement. Shifts will be confirmed in advance and the initial contract will run for approximately six to eight weeks, subject to contract review, with strong opportunities for extension thereafter for the right candidate. The anticipated start date is on or around 15 June 2025, subject to the successful completion of Frontline Insourcing's full NHS-standard compliance and onboarding process prior to commencement.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous NHS experience as a Healthcare Assistant, at an essential level
  • Valid, in-date DBS certificate
  • Evidence of blood and immunisation records
  • All mandatory training must be current and fully compliant prior to deployment
  • Based locally to the Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent area
  • An excellent, professional patient manner

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in Respiratory outpatient clinics, Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs), or similar outpatient settings
  • Familiarity with patient assessment and outcome documentation workflows
  • An excellent, professional patient manner

Location and about our teams

We actively build regional clinical teams so that our Healthcare Assistants are genuinely local to their placement area. This ensures continuity of care for patients, consistency within our teams, and means our people are home each evening. Candidates based in or immediately around Crewe or Stoke-on-Trent are therefore strongly preferred.
