As our business continues to grow, we have identified a new exciting opportunity for a Senior Inventory Manager, that will have overall management of our Inventory Management function across Magazines, Collectibles, Books, Music and Video. If you’re ready to lead our inventory function across multiple categories, then this could be the job for you!
As our Senior Inventory Manager you will be responsible for driving the development of the Inventory Management operation including:
- Wholesale stock management and senior level engagement with Wholesale
- Day 1 supply setting for stores on Collectibles, Books, Music and Video
- Replenishment services during on sale across all categories
- Managing the implementation of inventory management for new Retailers and categories as they join the business (FRS/FDS)
- Systems and process development to improve service delivery and reduce waste
- Reporting across all aspects of the service both externally and internally
- Management of the Inventory Management team
Essential Skills You will have previous experience of:
- Managing inventory management processes in a fast-moving product category or FMCG role
- Managing a team and supporting team development
- Delivering a Continuous Improvement ethos in an operational environment
- Implementing new systems to drive improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency
- Operating in a Retailer facing Supply Chain role
- Stakeholder management (both internal & external) in a fast-moving operation and demonstrated ability to manage competing requirements and demands
You must be able to build strong relationships with internal and external teams, including our Primary Carrier and Wholesale teams. Be able to problem solve, think on your feet and thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
