PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + benefits (dependent on experience and seniority)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client — a well-established, full-service building-services and construction firm with over two decades of industry presence — is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to support continued growth. Operating nationwide, the organisation delivers commercial fit-out, MEP, refurbishment, civils, racking, maintenance, and sustainable energy projects across a diverse client base.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of medium to large-scale construction and engineering projects. This includes leading multi-discipline teams, managing project programmes and budgets, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define scope, deliverables and project objectives alongside key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed programmes, resource plans and budgets.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (MEP, civils, fit-out, renewables, maintenance).
  • Oversee progress, quality assurance, H&S compliance and risk management.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates, reports and sign-offs.
  • Senior PM candidates will manage larger or more complex projects and may support team leadership and internal development.
  • CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven track record in project management within construction, fit-out, MEP or refurbishment.
  • Strong organisational, planning and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and deliver projects end-to-end.
  • For senior applicants: experience managing high-value or multi-phase projects and mentoring others.
