This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
We’re looking for a passionate and organised Marketing Communications Assistant to join our Publishing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in games PR and influencer marketing. You’ll support the team in delivering impactful campaigns that connect our games with players around the world, helping to manage media and influencer relationships, coordinate campaign assets, and contribute creative ideas to amplify our titles across earned media and social channels.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Draft press releases, media alerts, and other PR copy.
- Maintain and update media lists across gaming, entertainment, and lifestyle outlets.
- Coordinate press and influencer outreach under guidance from more senior team members.
- Monitor and report on media and influencer coverage for campaigns and launches.
- Research and identify influencers across platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Support the day-to-day running of our content creator programs, including product key distribution and merchandise mailouts.
- Track influencer content performance and sentiment for campaign reporting.
- Contribute to campaign planning process.
- Collaborate with internal teams (social, community, marketing, creative) to ensure alignment with PR and influencer activities.
- Assist with event planning and execution, including previews and conventions.
- Help create media/influencer kits, presentations, and campaign summaries.
- Stay up to date with gaming industry news, trends, and influencer platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an understanding of brand tone of voice.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Enthusiastic about games and gaming.
- Understanding of PR and influencer marketing principles.
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms e.g. Twitch, YouTube, and short-form content trends e.g. TikTok, Reels.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
- Previous relevant experience through work, internships, or personal projects, in PR, influencer, social media, or marketing.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and influencer platforms e.g. Keymailer, Lurkit, CreatorIQ.
- An interest in simulation games.
