  • ABOUT FRONTIER

Upstream oil and gas is one of the most dynamic and consequential industries on the planet, and Frontier sits at the heart of its global deal-making.

Our boutique Summits and Forums bring together industry leaders, heads of government, and the key power brokers in global energy.

We create uniquely intimate environments where the world's most influential decision-makers build knowledge, forge relationships, and meet their future partners.

We hold a rare and privileged position: trusted, discreet, and globally connected - relied upon by both established players and rising forces to facilitate what matters most in our sector.

Our network is our backbone, and we invest relentlessly in its breadth and depth.

As Frontier continues to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Content & Programme Manager to join our high-performing team and help shape our next chapter.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Content & Programme Manager is a senior role responsible for leading the development and delivery of the programmes across our global Summits and Forums, working closely with the CEO on overall programme direction, positioning and senior-level participation.
  • Our programmes are deliberately focused and senior-level, built around the issues, opportunities and conversations that matter most to the international upstream industry.

We prioritise quality over volume - bringing the right people together for conversations that are relevant, timely and commercially important.

  • You will develop a deep understanding of the global upstream landscape, identify the themes shaping the industry and use strong industry judgement to translate them into compelling programmes featuring leading executives, governments, NOCs, investors and industry experts.
  • You will work closely with the CEO to shape programme direction, bringing forward well-researched ideas, recommendations and opportunities while ensuring each programme reflects Frontier's positioning, relationships and strategic priorities.
  • You will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations colleagues to maximise the quality and relevance of our programmes and ensure they support Frontier's wider commercial objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead programme development - take day-to-day responsibility for the quality, relevance and seniority of Frontier's programmes, working with the CEO to determine the issues we should address, the people we should involve and the conversations we should create.
  • Stay close to the market - understand the major trends, investment themes, companies, countries and personalities shaping global upstream.
  • Identify and secure the right C-level speakers - including CEOs, senior executives, ministers, regulators, NOC leaders and industry experts - prioritising relevance, credibility and seniority over volume.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders across Frontier's international network.
  • Create compelling session themes, formats, titles and programme copy that reflect what the market genuinely wants to discuss.
  • Brief speakers and moderators and manage relationships from initial invitation through to delivery onsite at global Summits, forums and events.
  • Collaborate across the business to align programme content with commercial, marketing and event delivery teams.
  • Represent Frontier at our own events and in the market as required, embodying the brand's prestige and credibility.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record developing high-quality B2B conference programmes in the oil and gas, energy, commodities or professional services sectors.
  • Demonstrable success developing programmes for international markets and engaging senior-level speakers and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship-builder with the confidence and gravitas to engage C-suite, VP-level and government stakeholders.
  • Strong industry judgement, able to identify the issues, people and conversations that will create genuinely compelling programmes.
  • Experience managing the full programme development process, from research and speaker acquisition through to briefing and onsite delivery.

Who You Are

  • Self-motivated and proactive - a true self-starter who thrives with autonomy.
  • Collaborative, organised and structured, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Curious, creative and analytical - able to think laterally, spot emerging themes and understand what matters to the market.
