As demand for innovative cloud, data and AI solutions continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to help expand strategic relationships across central government.

The Opportunity
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new opportunities across central government, engaging with senior stakeholders and building long-term partnerships that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
Working closely with delivery, consulting and leadership teams, you will help shape go-to-market strategies, influence account growth plans and position innovative digital solutions that address complex public sector challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account growth strategies across central government organisations.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through existing networks, market engagement and proactive outreach.
- Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, programme leaders and commercial stakeholders.
- Lead opportunity qualification, bid strategy and pursuit activities from initial engagement through to contract award.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast future revenue.
- Identify strategic partners and collaborate on joint growth initiatives.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, government forums and networking activities.
- Work alongside technical and consulting teams to create compelling value propositions and client solutions.
- Monitor market trends, procurement activity and competitor positioning to identify areas for growth.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable success winning and growing business within UK central government.
- Strong understanding of government procurement routes, commercial frameworks and buying cycles.
- Experience selling digital, technology, consulting or transformation services.
- Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building trusted client relationships and converting opportunities into revenue.
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate autonomously while collaborating across teams.
