You will take overall responsibility for multi-disciplinary project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of large-scale, complex nuclear projects across the full project lifecycle
  • Provide strategic oversight to multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, and project controls
  • Own programme delivery using NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk management
  • Develop and drive comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Act as the senior interface between clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure projects adhere to all regulatory, safety, environmental, and governance requirements
  • Drive project performance through robust reporting, assurance, and decision-making processes
  • Lead change control, early warnings, and compensation event management with strong commercial acumen
  • Mentor and develop project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Champion health and safety leadership across projects, embedding best practices throughout delivery
  • What You’ll Bring

    • Engineering degree (civil, mechanical, electrical, nuclear, or related discipline)
    • Significant experience managing large nuclear or similarly complex, regulated infrastructure projects
    • Proven track record of successful delivery under NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 ECC preferred)
    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder landscapes
    • Excellent commercial and contract management capabilities, particularly in change and risk management
    • Deep understanding of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in nuclear environments
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels
    • Eligible for UK security clearance and adept at working within secure and regulated settings
  • What’s On Offer

    • Leadership role on some of the UK’s flagship nuclear energy infrastructure projects
    • Opportunity to shape project outcomes with direct impact on national energy strategy
    • Extensive professional development and leadership growth pathways
