We’re supporting an advanced tech defence client seeking a Senior/ Lead Network Security Engineer. You’ll lead a small Network team, focused on process improvement, team oversight and secure network delivery across multiple projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a small team of network & security engineers
- Oversee ticket queues, change controls, and BAU operations
- Drive improvements in process, documentation, and delivery standards
- Act as technical lead for network implementation
- Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth, aligned deployments
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience with:
- Juniper (LAN switching, SRX)
- Palo Alto firewalls
- Enterprise networking environments
- Managing engineers / leading teams
- Working with EDR & SIEM tools
- Engaging technical & non-technical stakeholders
- Exposure to cloud networking
Tech environment:
- Cisco (current) → migrating to Juniper
- Meraki wireless
- Windows + Ubuntu (Nutanix / AHV)
- SIEM/SOC: Defender, Sentinel, Splunk
- Tooling: Darktrace, Nessus
Desirable:
- Check Point experience
- Security testing
- IEC 62443
