My forward thinking & hi-tech defence client are seeking a Project Scheduler to support complex and high value defence programmes. This pivotal role involves developing, integrating, and maintaining project and portfolio schedules, helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fully resourced, time-phased project schedules using MS Project.
- Build and manage project risk schedules and perform schedule risk analysis.
- Work closely with Project Managers and technical leads to structure schedules aligned with project deliverables.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and forecasting.
- Integrate engineering work plans into master schedules.
- Provide progress evaluations, reports, and “what-if” analyses for decision-making.
- Track and forecast resource needs via the Portfolio Master Schedule.
- Offer best-practice advice for schedule and budget control.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in schedule creation, resource planning, risk integration, and cost scoping for large-scale, complex projects.
Expertise in Microsoft Project
APM certification or equivalent project management qualification is desirable.
Experience working within secure or regulated environments, preferably defence.
Ability to collaborate effectively, manage timelines, and communicate complex schedule data clearly.
