We are looking for an eDV-cleared Java Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team working on complex, mission-critical software systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, modern DevOps practices, and solving challenging problems at scale in a high-security environment.
You will design and build reliable, high-performance services, contribute to microservice and cloud-native architectures, and write clean, test-driven code. You should be experienced in Java and Spring, confident with CI/CD pipelines, and familiar with containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes. A strong understanding of software design patterns and a passion for quality engineering will be essential.
Experience with microservices, DDD, CQRS, advanced Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP will be an advantage, but not required.
To be eligible for this role, you must hold or be able to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance, including a minimum of ten years’ continuous residency in the United Kingdom.
If you are motivated by impactful work, modern engineering practices, and the opportunity to develop secure, large-scale systems, we would welcome your application.
