Our client is seeking a talented Cloud Native DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will work on mission-critical systems that demand high availability, robust security, and scalable infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for building, automating, and optimising cloud environments while maintaining the highest security standards. What You’ll Do
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS environments with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous integration and deployment of mission-critical applications.
- Monitor and optimise system performance, availability, and security, applying observability best practices.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment, engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver iterative improvements.

Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience deploying and managing AWS cloud infrastructure in secure environments.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and best practices for securing cloud workloads.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimise cloud deployments.
Security Requirements
This position requires Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. Candidates must have resided continuously in the UK for the last 10 years and meet other detailed eligibility criteria.
