We’re supporting a National Security-focused technology consultancy in the search for a DV-cleared Cloud Engineer with strong experience automating secure, scalable cloud platforms in highly regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Automate application and infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment within highly secure AWS environments
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines operating under strict security constraints
- Deploy and manage containerised workloads at scale
- Embed security best practice by design across infrastructure, pipelines and runtime environments
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined Agile/Scrum delivery team
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tooling, automation and delivery processes
- Engage professionally with customers and stakeholders in sensitive environments
Technical Skills
- AWS (secure production environments)
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation)
- Amazon ECS
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD automation (DroneCI ideal, alternatives acceptable)
- Git (GitHub / GitLab)
- Advanced Linux administration & Bash scripting
- Ansible
- Strong understanding of security best practice, including:
- Kubernetes security
- Network segmentation / security groups
- Mutual authentication (mTLS)
- HTTP security headers & platform hardening
- AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild
- Experience working in restricted or air-gapped environments
